I am a Senior Lecturer (Associate Professor) at the University of Brighton, School of Business and Law, and a Fellow at the Global Labor Organization
My research interests relate to Applied Micro-econometrics with focus on Labour, Education, Migration, Subjective wellbeing and Development.
After I have received my PhD from Royal Holloway, University of London in 2011, I spent one year in the Department of Economics at Sussex University as Teaching Fellow, then I joined the National Institute of Economic and Social Research, where I worked as Senior Economist on policy evaluation projects.
In 2017 I returned to Academia working at King's College London, Business School, as well as at the Centre of Migration, Policy and Society (COMPAS), University of Oxford. In August 2021 I joined the University of Brighton as Senior Lecturer in Economics.
Since September 2022, I am a Mentor for the Royal Economic Society Mentoring Programme for early career female researchers.

In June,and September 2023 I have been a Visiting researcher at the Institute for Labour Law and Industrial Relations in the European Union, (IAAEU) at Trier University, Germany hosted by Prof. dr. Laszlo Goerke.
I am also a Fellow of the Advance Higher Education.
